SO I installed Oracle client 11g R2 32 bits for windows on the server. We need to install oracle client on a windows 2008 64 bits server.īecause for some of our miscrosoft integration service SSIS packages we have to run 32 bits.

I've spent a lot of time searching for any help on a manual uninstall of Java through google, all to no avail. No matter what I do, I get the same loopy message."That program is installed Do you want to reinstall?" "Operation is only available for installed programs" Loop, loop (twice). Same result exactly with the Full install (15mb) version. The install program informed me JRE was already installed, would I like to reinstall? When I click "yes" then I get a message, that that option is only available for installed programs.then the install program loops, asking again if I would like to reinstall.then quits.

I downloaded the new JRE 1.6u10 (slim vers.) and attempted to install. Java 1.6u7 was installed on my Windows XP machine, but became corrupted.
